Captain Underpants series (Dav Pilkey)

Well, I am going to mention this series. You might have heard of them, and you might be offended by them, but I am going to write about them. This potty humorous book series about two boys, George & Harold are great for earlier readers, but also fun for older children. Dav Pilkey, the author, made up the character Captain Underpants when he was in second grade, and he got in trouble; Dav's  teacher told him that he could not spend his time writing inappropriate books. Well, look at the guy now! Some of the books by Pilkey include: The Adventures of Super Diaper Baby, Captain Underpants and The Wrath of the Wicked Wedgie Woman, and Captain Underpants and the Perilous Plot of Professor Poopypants. He has also written  The Paperboy, a Caldecott Honor Book. I recommend The Captain Underpants series for ages 6-10.
